2nd Lockdown

Dear Members
The BBDFL is fully aware of the statement issued on Sky News that the elite game will continue and amateur sports will put on hold.
Football in England has 3 recognised levels elite, amateur and grassroots and as such this statement does not include the grassroots game at this time and we have read lots of "opinion" on the matter from media and social media sources
We ask people to please be patient and await clarity from the FA or County FA who are currently in discussion with the DCMS (Department for Culture Media and Sport) on the implications for the grassroots game
In light of this the BBDFL has issued this statement
Please note from a league perspective NOTHING has changed until we get an update from the FA or CFA
We are still planning and sorting fixtures for the next couple of weeks and beyond to help as many people as possible enjoy the game whilst they are able
If this changes we will let you know
We are well prepared for any eventuality and are still committed to providing football activities, referee and coach educational support and support for our member clubs throughout this season and beyond
